All Engineering & Prototype Drawing files, as well as any other pertinent information on your project will burnt on a DVD and mailed to you when the project is complete. PRG also stores a confidential in-house copy of all of your engineering data in the event you may need it in the future. There is not a standard price for prototyping due to the unique nature of each new product. We do provide free fixed price quotes on all of our Prototype Services.

CP Prototype

Conceptual Prototypes, or sometimes known as a Mock-Up prototype are made using state of the art Rapid Prototyping and 3-D Printing Equipment that truly brings your product to life. This tangible prototype is strong yet durable, but is limited on some functional characteristics. Standard available colors include, white, red, yellow, blue and green. The CP prototypes can also be sanded and painted to any color desired. These prototypes use a variety of materials, but ABS is typically preferred for its strength.





F3 Prototype

The (F3) Form, Fit, Function Prototype is perfect for a prototype that physically performs a function such as snap fits, flexible materials, and even goes as far as incorporating glow in the dark materials. Everyone loves the F3 prototype because of the color options, which can generally be matched to any pantone PMS color. Some of our color options are listed below:

White
Black
Blue
Red
Green
Yellow
Gray
Steel Gray

We can also create prototype parts that are Translucent Red, Amber and Transparent Clear, as well as Rubber and Elastomeric parts that simulate production parts.

The plastic materials used for the F3 are of the highest quality and by far the most durable and long lasting. The important point to make here is the fact that these are simulated production parts and can be produced very inexpensively for multiple prototype parts of under 20 units.






CF Prototype

The (CF) Custom Fabricated Prototypes are custom made prototypes using high quality stock plastic materials and plastic engineering techniques to create larger or more unique products. The CF Prototype is also used to create CNC machined metal parts and all other non-traditional unique prototypes. This is the prototype you want if it is not economically or mechanical feasible to use other prototyping methods such as rapid prototyping.





VP Prototype

The (VP) Virtual Prototypes (computer-generated model) utilize the newest technology to show the features and complete aspects of the product. The images we create for the Virtual Prototype look very real and will seem as if we have created the product. These images are ideal for marketing materials and to look at multiple color options before building a functional Prototype. The virtual prototype allows you to see exactly what the physical prototype and product will look like and how it will function.
